Join the T'chiyah Religious Services Committee for a meeting to discuss what's worked and what ought to change about how we hold services these days!
Behind the scenes of our Shabbat and holiday services is the hard work of dedicated volunteers in the Congregation, who meet monthly to chart the course for our religious services. It can be difficult work - you can never please everyone, completely! - but our lay leaders keep things running smoothly and sacredly. With Rabbi Alana set to take a sabbatical February through April, these leaders have their work cut out for them, and need your input to continue to craft meaningful and relevant services throughout the Omicron-inflected winter and beyond.
If you're a member of the congregation, you're invited for an OPEN MEETING on Sunday January 23 to help us evaluate what's working with Zoom services, what ought to change, and what can be done differently as we move through the winter and beyond.
We are also using this opportunity to seek out lay leaders who are interested in leading services during Rabbi Alana's sabbatical and beyond. If you're interested or curious about this, please attend!
Our Religious Services Committee is chaired by Raya Samet, and consists of: Rabbi Alana, Jake Ehrlich, Shuffy Golberg, Harold Gurewitz, Roz Schindler, Stacey Shehin, and Elijah Silver.
