Welcome moon lovers! Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of the new month in the Hebrew calendar, which starts with the new moon. Traditionally, Rosh Chodesh was a space for women/menstruating folks to gather together, connect, and learn from one another.
At our Rosh Chodesh (or RoCho, for short) Av gathering, we discuss the spiritual energies of the upcoming month, which include loss and love. We will explore this duality, join our voices in song, and connect with one another. Festive nosh and drinks will be served, but please feel free to bring along any other sustenance that you require.
This space celebrates and emphasizes femininity and is open to all genders and identities. You are always welcome at our circle.
For our gathering, please bring:
- A journal and writing utensil
- Insect repellant, socks, and shoes. We will be doing an activity with light walking.
- A chair for gathering around the firepit
PLEASE REVIEW OUR PROTOCOLS BEFORE YOU RSVP:
-
All attendees must be up-to-date on a complete course of COVID vaccinations, as their eligibility permits.
-
This event will be outdoors, so masking is optional. If you would prefer that everyone be masked, please email [email protected] to make that request.
