Social Justice

Detroit Jews for Justice was created in 2015 to live out our mission of making social change central to the life of our congregation and committed to being a social justice organization owned by the entire Jewish community of Metro Detroit. The position of Rabbi/Community Organizer was developed to best serve our unique vision and to bring this vision to life in our region.

T’chiyah is proud to be the first Jewish community to join the Metro Coalition of Congregations (now called DRIVE: Detroit Regional Interfaith Voice for Equity) an interfaith organization of clergy and congregations working together for the common good in Metro Detroit.
