Embodying the Ram’s Horn

As a part of our Elul programming, join us after our Havdalah service to practice on connecting to the experience of holding, blowing, and hearing the shofar, following Havdalah. Leaders Jake Ehrlich and Raya Samet are facilitating the Elul programming, and Jake is leading the shofar intensive. RSVP below.

Elul is the month that precedes the Jewish High Holidays. This is a time for reflection, introspection and spiritual work in preparation for the transformative experiences of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur; a time to look honestly at ourselves and our communities and the values we hold -- to probe deeply into who we are and what we stand for; a time of cheshbon ha-nafesh, “soul-accounting,” where we strive to assess how true we’ve been to our highest visions we hold for ourselves; a time to gather together, breathe, and prepare ourselves for renewal.

Join us for a series of sessions structured around attuning ourselves to the spirit of Elul, and how to get the most out of the High Holiday season, the first of which is this shofar intensive.

RSVP below. All are welcome.
