Our Rabbi
Rabbi Jason Miller became the rabbi of Congregation T'chiyah in August 2008. He was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, where he was the first Gladstein Fellow and the President of the Rabbinical School Student Organization. He earned a master's degree from the Davidson Graduate School of Education. He participates in CLAL's Rabbis Without Borders fellowship and is an alum of the STAR Foundation's Professional Education for Excellence in Rabbis (PEER) program.
Rabbi Miller serves on the board of directors of JARC, a community-based Jewish residential services program for people with developmental disabilities. He is on the Family Circle Committee of the Jewish Federation, the Single Jewish Parent Network board, and the Mitzvah Initiaitive Committee of the Young Adult Division.
He is currently a visiting assistant professor at Oakland University in the Jewish Studies Program.
Rabbi Miller and his wife Elissa are the proud parents of three children.
